September Meeting Highlights
Junior Bulldogs Meeting Recap – 9/29/25
Welcome – Purpose of Junior Bulldogs
The Junior Bulldogs program fosters community, teamwork, and school spirit by providing sports opportunities for kindergarten through 6th grade students at University Schools.
We organize youth sports teams so University students can play together, building connections and friendships that strengthen as they transition into middle and high school athletics.
Our goal is to create meaningful opportunities for students to participate in athletic activities through school-based camps and programs that align with University’s high school athletic teams.

On September 8th, we held a Junior Bulldog Wrestling meeting.

Program Goals: Traditionally a beginner club, open to all ages, weights, boys and girls. The program builds self-confidence, mental toughness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline.
Season: November– Beginning of April
Tournaments: February–April (optional — participation is not required).
Flyers, Facebook, and ParentSquare posts were shared to recruit volunteer coaches. The deadline to volunteer was set for September 26th.
Goal: At least 2 coaches per level, with additional support encouraged, especially for tournaments.
8-10 individuals have expressed interest in volunteering. Currently we have one parent interested in being a head coach!
