Junior Bulldogs Meeting Recap – 10/27/25
In Attendance: Alison Reece, Janna Koehler, April Albrecht, Kristi Rusch, Kate Johnson, Brian Souchek
Lunch for Teachers on Conference Day
Up for vote between:
Subway $9 per meal
Jimmy Johns $10 per meal
Chick- fil-a: special program in which Chick- Fil A gives 100 free meals, then we can purchase the rest which are $10 each (all individually boxed)- would purchase 100 additional
Date of Event: Jan 26th food delivered at noon
Voted all in favor of Chick Fil A option
Asked for 6 weeks in advance- Alison will let them know
Fundraiser - Red Robin Day for Junior Bulldogs Nov. 10th (all day)
Brian will ask Ryan about borrowing the Bulldog suit
Advertising in Friday folders, early Monday morning of 11/10
Prior coupons for event were distributed at Trunk or Treat

Girls Basketball Camp
31 total participants between K-5th grade
$434 to the HS basketball team
Basketball scrunchies were purchased and donated by Junior Bulldogs
Thank you to the High School team for making this camp a success!
Soccer Camp
26 total participants between K-5th grade
No profit on camp because of investments in purchasing soccer equipment (goals, balls, etc)
Thank you to all of our volunteers to help make our first soccer camp experience a success!
Winter Sports Update
Basketball Coaches Need- Girls and Boys
Winter Session Jan 5-Feb 23
2016/2017- age group
2014/2015- age group
Early Registration begins 11/18-11/22: we hope to have registrations codes for coaches during this time
Brian Souchek, our Greeley Rec Sports Liaison, will be meeting with Greeley Rec on 11/17 to discuss enrolling teams, and other details to help make this a successful season for our Junior Bulldogs teams!
As of right now potential coaches include:
David Crespin- coach
John Woodward (boys 2016/2017- team list started, please contact Kate Johnson at universityjrbulldogs@gmail.com if you are 2017/2016 boy interested and have not already spoken with John W.)
Megan Nelson- possibly coach 2016 (2/3rd grade)
Nick/Kate (can help John W. or add team for boys 2016/2017)
We need MORE coaches, especially for the 2014/2015 boy and girls group!
All interested coaches need to contact Brian Souchek by Friday 14th.
Future Events
Wrestling
Head Coaches: have been selected (still waiting on a few background checks, more information to come about the season as we have it available)
Additional assistant coaches are needed to help ensure practices are successful
If you have wrestling experience and would like to help coach at practices (you do not have to be at every practice, help at the ones you are able) please reach out to us at universityjrbulldogs@gmail.com
